I only have a computer for media, so my wife and I watch mostly DVD's. I like documentaries, science fiction, comedy, anime, drama, adventure. I'll watch just about anything. My 68 year old father has discovered Tivo, so we end up watching recorded FreeSpeech TV when I visit.

JPR, Sufi music, classical, reggae, house, two step, alternative, jazz, bluegrass, ... How about I DON"T listen to a lot of country music.

Books, lots and lots of books. Though, not so much as my wife. She can read through 8 books a month if she has time.

I like all genres, but here are a few favorite authors. Bukowski, Robbins, Tolkien, McKibben, Card, Chomsky, Anthony, Heinlein, Martin, Herbert, Verne, Rand, Friedman and my fave. fiction writer Kay.

Not to be cliche , but everyday I get out of bed is the best day of my life.

I have a lot of friends for many different reasons. I think that is a reason in itself. I have lots of friends and you could meet a lot of new people just my being my friend.

I believe that people have a right to know where their food comes from and what is in it.

I mostly eat at home. My wife was born and raised a vegetarian and while Ashland is pretty vegi friendly, I still have the best meals at home. Having said that Wileys World and Kobe are both on the top of my list.

Move to where you want to be, then figure out how to stay there.

Affordable housing, a responsible and attentive government a long life with lots of friends and grand kids.

When people complain.

A lot of the States as well as Costa Rica, Peru, and very briefly Bolivia.

My Dad. Eddy Izzard. Fantastic! all the great saints of the world. Buddha, Jesus, Mohammad, Ghandi and all the saints that are barely known. Anyone who stands up for someone else who can't.

Food! You wouldn't know it to look at me at a hair under 6'2" and 160 lbs, but food. I love to cook. Indian, Thai, Sushi, Italian, British pub, Mexican, and California vegetarian.

I also like motorcycles and power tools.

I grew up in Yreka California and quickly jumped ship when I turned 18. I spent 10 years in the Bay Area in and around Santa Cruz. I meet my wife in Santa Cruz when she took the motorcycle safety class I was teaching at the local JC. We decided all the hustle and bustle of Santa Cruz was to much, so we moved home to Jefferson. I love being closer to my family and old stomping grounds.

I seem to be able to fix problems with things on hand, Like Mcgyver.

Yreka, Mt. Shasta, Weed, Los Gatos, San Jose, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Aptos, Corralitos, Soquel and Ashland. I don't intend to move from this area again.
