A special note about tuning in KSKQ-lp 94.9 fm: Most home FM tuners / Receivers do not have external antennas attached because most FM radio stations broadcast 5000 to 10,000 watts or more. We are only broadcasting at 60 watts at this time and we are not line of sight to Ashland. That means our signal is bounced off the mountains across the freeway. Please be patient with us as we baby step our way up to our allotted 100 watts very soon. One possible way to receive our signal better it to attach any external antenna to your home FM receiver. If you have an external, that would work even better. You can buy antennas at radio shack from $3.50 to $39.99. thank you...KSKQ April 8, 2008, Current Medford Mail Tribune story about KSKQ http://mailtribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080408/NEWS/804080314 Be the media. A special note about tuning in KSKQ 94.9 lpfm: Most home FM tuners / Receivers do not have external antennas attached because most FM radio stations broadcast 5000 to 10,000 watts or more. You can buy external antennas at radio shack from $3.50 to $39.99. thank you...KSKQ April 8, 2008, Current Medford Mail Tribune story about KSKQ and Indi-Media Week http://mailtribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080408/NEWS/804080314 Be the media.
