Camelot Theatre Company, a semi-professional theatre inthe Rogue Valley, will be holding General Auditions for its 2009 season onSaturday, November 1, from 10-1:00 p.m. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Camelot will beauditioning actors or all ages, races and ethnicities for the following playsand musicals:
"Bullshot Crummond" (comedy) Performance dates:January 28 - March 1; "Shenandoah" (musical) Performancedates: March 11 - April 12; "I Remember Mama" (drama) Performance Dates: April 22 - May 24; "Cabaret" (musical) PerformanceDates: June 17 - July 19; "Six Dance Lessons in SixWeeks" (comedy) Performance Dates: August 12 - September 13; "Doubt,a Parable" (drama) Performance Dates: October 7 - November 8;"The Secret Garden" (musical) Performance Dates: December 2 -January 3
There are roles this season for: children (including 2African-American children between the ages of 9-12), men (teens & adults)and women, both teens & adults (including an African-American woman 30-45years old).
Audition Information: Auditions are by appointment only!Please call 535-5250 ext. 2 to schedule an appointment. (If you have auditionedfor the theatre in the last year, we do not need to see you, as you are in ourfiles.)
Please bring a current picture and a resume, and includeany experience in the arts. ALL ACTORS must prepare a monologue (1-2minutes in length, memorized). In addition to a monologue, thoseauditioning for musicals must prepare a song and bring sheet music in their key(no karaoke CD's or acapella). An accompanist will be provided.
