HI, my name is Brittney Bass, I am a resident of Ashland and love reading the locals guide. I am not a writer but I thought of an idea for your October issue unless it has already gone to press. My husband, Jacob Gouge' (chef at Greenleaf) and his friends BerniePeters( owner of a window washing company) and Tom ( owner of Pasta Piatti) competed last year in a local BBQ competition Battle of the Bones II and won grand champion. They will be competing again inBattle of the Bones III on October 24, 25, 26 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. I think it would be nice if locals from our area came to support their team.
