WHITECITY, OREGON — Celebrating 70 years of local service, Rogue Disposal andRecycle is proud to present its annual “Free Latex Paint Drop-OffEvent” on Friday and Saturday, September 12 and 13, at RogueDisposal’s Transfer Station located at 8001 Table Rock Road, White City.The event, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, is designed to help residentsdispose of any size partially filled cans of latex paint in a safe andenvironmentally friendly manner.
The“Free Latex Drop-Off” is just one of many services Rogue Disposalprovides, which include a full range of residential, commercial and industrialsolid waste collection; curbside commingled household recycling pickup; medicalwaste service; confidential on-site document shredding; curbside yard debris collection;large item and extra rubbish removal; and other services. All of these serviceshelp support the company’s all-encompassing motto of “We dothat!”
Thepaint drop-off event will not be open to businesses or commercial painters; and55-gallon containers or any oil-based paints will not be accepted. Oil-basedpaints usually have words like flammable,combustible or alkyd listed on the label, and cannot beaccepted at this event.
Cansof latex paint more than half full and in good condition will be separated andput on a “re-use table.” These cans will be free to anyone whowants them.
