MUSIC
All the usual suspects, from guys in caves banging sticks on rocks through Gregorian Chant to J.S. Bach, Ludwig, Wolfgang and Gustav Mahler to Anton Bruckner; from the Delta blues of Robert Johnson and Charlie Patton to the lonesome railroad whistles of Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers and Townes Van Zandt, from the Chicago blues of Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy and Chess Records' Willie Dixon to Bob Dylan, then on through the Beatles and the Stones via John Barry and Ennio Morricone, through the voices of Billie Holiday, Sandy Denny and Nick Drake, from the soul of Bobby Womack and Marvin Gaye to the early rap of Gil Scott-Heron, from the blues-rock of Jimi Hendrix, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin, and the spacey sounds of Pink Floyd, to the prog of Focus and Trace (bowing at all times to the drumming of Pierre van Der Linden), Caravan and Spring, to the Irish bard Van Morrison to the endless list of jazzers, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach, John Coltrane, Art Blakey, Pharoah Sanders, and especially Keith Jarrett and John Scofield, not forgetting to mention the Norwegian king of mood, Terje Rypdal. But above all else, Miles Davis: Mr. Less Is More.

Causes & Charities
We hope that one day very soon, humans will realise that they are not the only ones living on this amazing spinning blue ball in a far flung corner of a distant galaxy...and that it may be the only home we have.
Some of them depend upon the weather..but making and listening to music, either recorded or live, has to rank above all else. As Keef Richards said; After clothing, food and shelter, music is the next most important thing in life.
