Anything and everything. I have a stack of five books waiting for me right now. Just finished The Secret Life of Bees. Nice little read. Truly anything: science books, trashy novels, Oprah picks, Elizabethan period of English history. Classics. You name it, I've read something in the genre. I will die reading!

Classical music and classic rock. That pretty much covers it, although I enjoy most kinds of music, depending on the setting. If it's radio, it's the two aforementioned classics. Beatles, of course. Pink Floyd. Saw them at the Cow Palace in 1974 ['73?] on their Dark Side of the Moon tour. I will NEVER forget that concert!!!
Also attended many, many Day on the Green concerts by Bill Graham. Kezar Stadium, Oakland Coliseum, those were the days of great rock concerts!

Oh, did we say movies? I just watched The Elephant Man for the first time. I can't believe I've never seen it. Amazing story; I learned of John Merrick in my early 20's through a book I had call Very Special People. See the movie if you haven't yet.
I tend toward softer, gentler movies these days. My life is full enough managing 21 employees and tending to my business property. I'm a WalMart $5 per movie junkie. Cheap entertainment. I also look forward to the Ashland Independent Film Festival. I've enjoyed everything I've ever seen there. I'm always open to recommendations.

Well, there have been many, but one of them must be graduating with that BS in chemistry at age 44. Also marrying my husband. I'm sorry to say he's not my husband any more, though. :(
Acquiring my business was pretty cool. Oh, there's just too many to think about. We'll talk about that, too.

Ummm, fun? Witty? Charming? Well, loyal, too. This is getting hard.

Anything and everything local. AIFF, Children's Advocacy Center, SOU, local individuals in need, music, too many others to mention.

Black Sheep! (Do you see this, Susanita?) Pangea. Breadboard. Morning Glory. Avalon. So many yummy places, really, I love to eat out and do so often. All over. They're all good; just go.

Graduating from college. Owning my home. Owning my business and having an amazing staff to work with.

I'm the owner of The Phoenix Day Spa & Salon in Ashland. I graduated from SOU in 2001 with a BS in Chemistry after being a hairstylist for 28 years. Now I'm back in the beauty industry after being a chemist for several years, with a year of graduate school in analytical chemistry. Don't ask.
I guess it's just easier to meet me. We'll talk then.

Astronomy. Reading. Friends and dinners. Going to the theater and live symphony and choral music. Good movies.

Everything in our little corner of the world interests me! Theater, music, books, street entertainment, pubs, friends, spas, hiking. Lively debate on religion/atheism. Intellectual discussions; erudite people. Astronomy. (I founded the Southern Oregon Skywatchers astronomy club in 1993.) Games. Walks. Dinner. Managing my business, The Phoenix Day Spa & Salon. I will never stop learning!

Well, let's see. I know several magic tricks. I can play the harmonica, sort of. I can mime pretty good, although it's been a while. I can make my hair do anything. (See photo.)
